Butterflies for sale!

Young girl with butterfly resting on handsIt's butterflies! This is a gift you can afford! At least one of these is a gift you can give! No matter how old your birthday girl or boy, butterflies make for a magical moment. On our butterfly farm in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, The Monarchy raises butterflies for special occasions - primarily painted lady butterflies and live monarchs for release. You don't need a wedding to celebrate with butterflies. Our clients have released them for anything from a birthday celebration to an anniversary party. There's nothing quite like it.

Butterflies for birthday parties, anniversaries, and special occasions.
The butterflies for sale at The Monarchy have been hand fed and raised in a protected environment, cared for at each stage of their development. Before your event, each butterfly is placed in an individual origami envelope, delivered one day in advance. Accompanying the butterflies will be an Native American Legend. This Legend describes a butterfly as a wish messenger to the heavens. Read aloud, the Legend prompts your guests to whisper a wish to their butterfly before letting it go.

Watch with delight as radiantly colored butterflies ascend into the sky! It will be a moment you'll never forget.

Live monarch releases are a meaningful, memorable and humane alternative.
A live butterfly release is not only memorable, but humane. This celebratory alternative prevents the potential death of birds that may suffer from the expansion of rice in their digestive systems. At the same time, it supports efforts to replenish butterflies in the environment and reverse trends of disappearing species. Unlike rice or birdseed, there is no cleanup. It's no surprise that the Monarchy has received worldwide attention, as people have recognized just how unique their event was after a painted lady or live monarch release.

"Thank you so very much for helping to make our home-again Sunday a hit. The children were absolutely thrilled!"
- Amelia Hays-Rivest - Trinity United Methodist Church, Springfield, Massachusetts
