The following items are available from The Monarchy:

1. Individual Designer Release Boxes

These are a step above the origami release envelopes. These release boxes are exquisitely designed in white or ivory linen and elegantly topped with a paper butterfly resting on the box. These boxes can be labeled with your names and the date. Butterflies will be inserted into these boxes prior to shipping, one butterfly per box. Specify white or ivory.

$1.25 per linen box.
Holds one large butterfly. Cannot be used with Painted Ladies.

If you do not choose to order these boxes, the butterflies will be shipped in our pretty designer origami release envelopes. There is no cost for the envelopes.

2. Lidded Organza Butterfly Release Box with Organza Rose - White.

The butterflies are held in this beautiful large sheer box and released all at once by opening the lid. - White

These are shipped in advance of your special event and may be decorated to coordinate with the colors of your special occasion.

Size is 10" x 10" square - holds up to 18 large butterflies or twice as many smaller
species.

These pretty release boxes are also for mass releases.  Butterflies can easily be seen through the sheer fabric.  Can be used to display butterflies as well.

5. Lace Collapsible Boxes

Local Rental Only - $40 plus $60 refundable deposit. Comes in white or ivory.

6. Butterfly Release and Display Cages

Local Rental Only - $40 plus $60 refundable deposit upon return of cage. Comes in white or ivory.

For those of you who wish to display your butterflies prior to release, this is for you. Or you may use the display as a back-up in case of inclement weather. You may add your own fresh flowers or we can supply a silk arrangement.

7. Purse Cage

Local Rental Only - $25 plus $25 refundable deposit when purse is returned to The Monarchy. Comes in white or ivory.

Numerous sterling and gold original settings encapsulate the colorful wings from more than 100 different species of butterflies and moths. Each piece is crated separately and can be coordinated with others to mix and match.

The "naturally expired" Monarch and Blue Morpho wings are used to create these magnificent Sterling Silver and Gold Plated jewelry pieces. The translucent beauty of the jeweled wings, in original design solid sterling and gold plated pieces, sealed with glass-like epoxy resins is a shimmering delight. Inserts are from "naturally expired" butterflies, hand-raised on butterfly farms.

Choose from the following. Specify Monarch or Blue Morpho. Other species/color preferences upon request, depending on availability.

The Butterfly King is a wonderful story that describes the life history of the Monarch butterfly. The story is told by a caterpillar as he progresses from one life stage to the next. The caterpillar encounters many biological and man-made hazards during his short life. The narrative is scientifically accurate. This video is appropriate for K-5 but also for people not familiar with the life history of the Monarch.
